Meetings
Are you looking for a location for your conference? Then you are exactly right with us. Our conference hotel offers you everything you need for a successful event.
Our technically fully equipped premises can accommodate up to 180 people. Special highlight - each of our conference rooms has its own terrace. Upon request, we will arrange this for you.
At lunchtime you have the opportunity to enjoy fresh regional cuisine in our in-house restaurant. For the small breaks in between, we will gladly provide you with coffee, slices or cakes.
Participants with a longer journey can also book one of the 62 hotel rooms.
Weddings
Every bridal couple is unique - why should not it be the celebration as well? Together with you we arrange your wedding individually. Whether "all inclusive" wedding package or individual consumption - everything is possible.

In a comprehensive consultation we clarify in advance with you all the important questions: Which dishes are the right ones? Do you want round tables for your room layout? Where should the reception take place - beer garden or banquet hall? How much space is needed for DJ and dance floor?
4th generation hosts

Weddings have a long tradition with us - already in the fourth generation, we are already hosting large banquet parties and can look back on many years of experience. About us
Hotel Nickisch is a proudly family-run 4-star hotel in Schüttorf, rooted in tradition and hospitality. The story began with Erich and Margarete Nickisch, who founded a small guesthouse in 1951 after arriving in the region. Over the decades, the business steadily grew, expanding into a modern hotel and restaurant that today combines classic warmth with contemporary comfort.
In 2012, the next generation took the lead — now guided by Eric and supported by his brother Elmar — continuing the family’s commitment to quality and guest satisfaction. Under their direction, the hotel has been modernised step by step, including stylish renovations of the bar, lobby and guest rooms.
In 2025, Hotel Nickisch reached a new milestone with an extension adding 28 spacious rooms built in sustainable modular timber construction — strengthening its role as a friendly destination for leisure and business travellers alike.
